"All-Star Sports Host" for its
work coordinating the USA
Track and Field Junior Nation-
al Championships last year.
With the award, Denton wiU
receive a mention in Sports-
Travel magazine's February is-
sue.

that publication and they will
do a little feature or highlight
on why the event organizer be-lieves our city deserved this
recognition," said Christine
Gossett, the vice president of
the Denton Convention and.
Visitor Bureau.

that received the awards. Cit-
ies were selected based on such
criteria -as the quality of the
venue, volunteer support, the
availability of transportation
and lodging, the cooperation of
the local organizing committee,
