Did you OTOT Stop to thinlr
how many different kinds of
merchandise are required to
keep that modem miracle, an
automobile, running right
and looking good? Gasoline
and motor oil, of course —
they're essentials; but how
many more! . . . You get a
spot on the upholstery which
must be removed; you need
a cleaner — and a polish —
tor the paint; tires, tubes and
such accessories as fan-belts,
windshield wiper blades,
dustcaps and the like; bat-
teries, battery cables, spark
plugs; repair and testing
equipment; a long list of spe-
cial lubricants . . . And you
yourself: on a trip you want
an insect-repellent and a
sunburn lotion; there's a
hurry call from home to fetch
a bottle of furniture polish, a
can of household oil . . .
We've provided them all for
you at your Humble Service
Station ... Next time you see
the Humble sign, get out and
ask the salesman to show
you around; see for yourself
how well equipped with fa-
cilities and products the sta-
tion is ... Then you'll under-
stand that our invitation to
stop for service where you
see the Humble sign is truly
a phrase with meaning!

Our Sunday School came up with
a good attendance last Sunday with
110 present. This is not nearly as
well as could be had each week, but
is above average for this season ol
the year.
The Men’s Brotherhood and the W.
M. S. met in regular meeting on
Monday evening. There were eleven
ladies present in the ladies meeting,
ami 1 blieve not quite as many men.
The report comes to the pastor, how-
ever. who has been away in a meet-
ing this week, that the programs in
both meetings were very good.
We wish to make- an appeal to all
of the members of the S. S. and
church to be in the services next
Lord’s Day. Let us have a good at
tendance again in Sunday School and
all the other phases of our work. Our
invitation to all is a hearty one, and
it remains the same for all who will
come and worship our Lord in the
church.

four hundred Texans have learned of
their official status us members of the
Spanish nobility.
A document discovered in Austin

dated 17.'10 and signed by the Spanish
viceroy in Mexico City in the name of
King Philip V of Spain—designated
the 15 original families of San An-

to be landed noblemen of the king-

The “discovered” mauscript is part
of the Spanish Archives, a rich col
lection of government papers trans-
ferred to the* University of Texas
library by Bexar County Commis-
