Two Stamford Men
To Enter Period
Of Guard Training
Two Stamford men will go on.
six months active duty with We
US Army at part of the spe-
cial training they are to re-
ceive as members of the Texas
National Guard’s 36th Infantry
Division, Major General Selden
Simpson, Amarillo commander,
announced here today.

Private* Dave R. Sparks and
Gregory J. Tolentino. both of
whom are members of Batten'
C, 1st Battalion, 131st Artillery.
They report March 23 at Fort
Polk. La., to begin their mili-
tary basic training.
