We are still looking for that
much needed rain, which we
haven’t received.
W W Long mire of Spring
Creek had the tank on the Ed-
gar Jones place cleaned out Sat-
urday. so I reckon he is still in
hopes of a rain
Alton Jones and Robert Phil-
lips are having some dozing
done and Johnny Maxcey's rigs
are doing the work
Mr. and Mrs Butch Rowlett
are combining maize
Mr. and Mrs. Butch Freedman
moved to Austin Monday to an-
other Job. He was the foreman
of the bridge gang on the new
road that has Just been com-
pleted.
Mrs. Melvin moved to Valley
Mills last week. Her husband
was the road foreman and Is
working In New Mexico at pres-
ent.
Eldon Prosser of Valley Mills
was Mere fishing Friday night,
but did not have any luck.
Tdmmle Wood of Seminole
and Johnnie Wood of Abilene
fished here Saturday night, but
no luck.
