Award in scouting.

Foods Corp. for 17 years.

American Legion Post
regular meeting tonight

Llano American Legion Post
370 will have their regular
meeting, Thursday Jan. 23 at
6:30 followed by,family night.
The Post will furnish the meat
and members and guests are
asked to bring a side dish.
Post 370 has two World War I
members. Dewey Pavey who
lives in Valley Spring With his
lovely bride of 56 years is now in
the Llano Hospital. He has had
surgery. Mr. Pavey s birthday is
in March and he was born in
1897. Leo Hardy is living in
Knopp Retirement Home in
Fredericksburg until spring with
his (ovely bride of 63 years. Mr.
Hardy was born in February
1897. They enjoy visits and
cards from members and
friends.
Post 370 Monday nights Fun
and Games is doing well. Post
370 has been able to make
building payments and pay the
regular bills as well as give
monies to the Boy Scouts,
scholarships, and help
members and friends with
medical, food, rent and other
small items that are needed.
Uses of the building has been
donated for activities that helps
Llano such as the youth dance
and merchants to work on the
Christmas lights. Post 370
thanks the people who support
our Fun*and Game night.
The Youth Center has the
building for an activity In March.
The young people need a place
to go and enjoy themselves and
maybe Llano will soon have a
place.
