GOOD THINGS
ARE HAPPENING
The promise of a good year for
local farmers is in the offing
with reports of adequate water in
storage and better than usual
prices being offered for winter
vegetables, citrus and cotton
futures.
All of us know that the economy
of Mercedes and the Valley is
largely dependent on farm and
farm related income. When a good
year is forecast for agriculture
we can all be thankful.
Mercedes values and appreciates
its farmer friends...they are one
of the ’good things' happening
in our town.
