room doors were thrown open and

elegant wedding supper. At 111

suddenly Sunday night at 111
o’clock. tie had been in poor-
health for several weeks but his;
j death was unexpected. His at-
! tendant physician states that his;
complaint was dropsy of the heart
with other com p 1 ications. Su ndayr
night he was apparently resting;
easy and sat up for a time. Om
going back to bed he said he would;
take a nap and turned over in bed
but almost immediately started up'

| go for the doctor at once. The)
I physician was.called in haste but
I on his arrival found Mr. Guess be-
| yond all helpi
The deceased was a good railroad!
! man and had been stationed here-
ten months. He was in his fon-v-
j seventh year, and leaves a- wife and!

The remains were taken to Gue’o
