The Picnic Par:j
ty. |
The picnic excursion party
which visited Pump Canon and
other Langtry scenes Tuesday
returned happy over the occa-l
sion and Mr. Gates would prob-
ably receive more ready encour-
agement in an attempt to organ-
ize another. The scenes were
just as enticing as represented
and no party would be more
able to appreciate them than the
one from our little city and the
rosy faces of the ladies and
pleased expression of the gentle-
men evidenced the deep joy tak-
en in the day’s outing.
The following composed the
party: Mr. and Mrs. Treager,
Mrs. T. B. Johnson, Misses
Blanche Johnson, May and Al-
line Stanscll, Lea and Sallie
Cole, Maggie and Dollie Savage,
Ida Ellis, Opal Boozer, and Mrs
Clark; Messrs. Trailer, Ross.
Jim Savage, Ivy Stansell, Chrs
Gates, Gus Collins, Will and Fred
