The Rev. C.W. Roberts of
San Antonio has accepted the
call at the Mt. Eden Baptist
church at Waelder and will be-
gin his pastorate Sunday, Dec.
14.
Kev. Roberts nas neen pas-
turing In the Waelder area for
more than 20 years and Is pres-
ently pastor of the Mt. Olive
Baptist church (Amrstrongcol-
ony) on the first and third
Sundays; and the Mt. Eden
church on alternate Sundays.

ip's Episcopal church and, at
the age of 16, is the youngest
licensed reader In the Epis-
copal Dioceses of West Texas.
He holds a 3.0 grade aver-
age, Is a chartered member of
the Oak and Ivy National Jun-
:.on Honor society and past edi-
tor at the Panthers Growl, Riley
Middle school newspaper.
Williams plans to further his
•Kiucatlon In special education
and speech pathology.

tor of the Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health, will be the
speaker. A former pastor of theSan Antonio Manor Baptist church.
Dr. Anderson will, In his dynamic way, speak on the role of the
church In our contemporary culture.
At the seven o’clock evening service, Mrs. Dorothy Nicholson,
a trustee of the Second Baptist church, will be the speaker.
Mrs. Nicholson Is a graduate of Tlllotson college and holds a
master's degree In education from Texas Southern university.
She Is the principal of Ruiz Elementary school in the San Antonio
Independent School district.
A cordial lnvltlation is given to all to hear these speakers In
the anniversary services Sunday of which Mrs. Alberta McHenry
and Mrs. Leona Hall are chairperson and co-chairperson, re-
