Dr. J. C. Wingo preached his fare-
well sermon to the people of the Point
last Sunday, at 11 o’clock a. m. The
discourse was very impressive and in-
structive, and productive of great
good to the Baptist church and all his
auditors. He has been called in the
pastoral work at Terrell, and accepted.
He ia one of the ablest divines in the
State, and will, we predict, do great
good in tlie cause of Christ in that vi-
cinity.
