of eight pngs.— consisting of a’ general
write up of Van Zniidt county and
I iter prominent men.
It requires a little rash to issue u
creditable edition. We are prepared
to do the work if there are enough,
liberal-hearted, public spirited, live,
gosft-head, got-tip and get men to put
the wherewith to issue an edition
that, would ho worth thousands to the
county. All we ask is advertisements
for the Edition mid buyer* for the pa-
per. Every advertiser should take
from twenty-live to *iye hundred
copies and send them abroad. By do
ing tliia it will inevitably redown to
great good to the county.
Who will he the first public spirited
man to move and encourage us in the
matter? You business men, come
around and advise with its. Let us
know whether or not you want to
reach out and do something for your-
self and county. We mean busi-
ness, and all that is needed to put it
into execution, is the proper encour-
agement and liberal patronage.
This is a business era ; and it is the
communities that cling together nnd
work with everlasting unanimity in
all enterprises that, are successful and
prosperous. History repeats itself,
and it is wasting paper anti ink to
further expatiate on tlio direful neces-
sity of the people of Van Zandt comity
to take immediate action in promul-
gating the county's natural resources
and advantages over our sister coun-

Wo can go on nnd on dragging in

and never have a town of any promi-
nence in the coultty, or moke no ef-
fort to show the advantages of the
county ovei others and he the same

hard things of it, which she does not
merit.
It is useless for u« tn remind our

for paupers. With some improve-
