A new party lias entered the polit-
ieial Hold in ,Yo.v York, and hours
the namo of "personul Liberty party.”
Its issue is “drinking beer on Sun-
.lay” from 2 p. m. till midnight.
New York hns something in the neigh-
borhood of eight psrties now.— Wilki-
lior (-V. C ) Chronicle.
Il strikes us very forcibly that Tex-
as would have no trouble in inaugu-
rating u "Personal Liberty Party,” as
the question At "Personal Liberty”
has been discussed ofjate duys. But,
then, if they love and cherish “Per-
sonal (?) Liberty," (drinking red
mule) better than tho Democratic
party, we suppose they can affiliate
with tho New York “Personal Liber-
ty” Brethern. Why not? Brethren
should dwell together in unity.
what has it accomplished’ Why wc
have the finest college building now
under coostrurtion in this county.
The necessity of two daily, mails is
caused l»y the changing of the sched-
ule. All mails leaving other points
than Wills Point coming to Canton,
and nil the offices io the county,
except those on tiie railroad, (which
nro of minor importance compared
with those over the county.) will be
thrown one day Inter. This change
in the schedule will, unless we are
given two daily niuiis from the
railroad, cause great confusion and
dissatisfaction among Hie people gen-
erally. We trust Col. Kilgore will,
when Congress couvones, make an el-
l’ort toward securing this addition to
onr needed mail facilities.
