Explorers, and leaders from all
parts of the nation and some
from other lands will camp to-
gether at the Fourth National
Jamboree July 12-18.
A 1,500-acre tent city is be-
ing prepared at historic Valley
Forge in Pennsylvania. It will
have its own water supply, elec-
tricity, telephone service, post
offices, and other services for

table met in Cuero, Tuesday
night at the American Legion
Hall. The opening session of the
meeting was conducted by Law-
rence Henneke, cubmaster from
Cuero, and the flag ceremony
was put on by Eagle Scout .John
Errol Dietze. There were 40 peo-
ple present, representing Schul-
enburg, Yoakum, Cuero and Hal-
lettsville.
After the opening ceremonies,
two groups were formed for
training purposes with the ex-
plorer and Boy Scout leaders a-
long with the explorer scouts
meeting under the leadership of
Charles Bodden, Cuero explorer
scout advisor. The group dis-
cussed and explored the met-
hods of financing the unit pro-
gram. Advisor Bodden reported
that the training session was
