DELL VALLEY
TRASH-OFF DAY
On Saturday, April 3rd, the National Honor Society and
the Dell City FFA joined others across the United States for
the designated TRASH-OFF day. Together the two clubs
picked up 50 bags of trash from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
The FFA team consisted of Clint Dean, Roman Gomez,
Tate Nicholas, Adan Acuna, Enrique Loya and Sponsor, Mr.
Bryce Duggar. The National Honor Society team was Mary
Roper, Shyra Dean, Erica de la Cruz, Brandy Nicholas, Neyri
Acuna, Alonso Romero and Sponsor, Dana Dean.
The FFA Adopt-A-Highway section is one mile on both
sides of the Salt Flat Junction. The NHS Adopt-A-Highway
section is one mile on both sides of the Dell City Junction.
Brandy Nicholas and Shyra Dean both found a $1.00
while picking up trash. The group decided that it sometimes
pays to be a volunteer. Mr. Bryce Duggar and Mrs. Dana
Dean would like to thank the students who took time out of
their busy schedule to make a difference!
Thanks to all of you!
The people in Dell Valley were delighted with rain,
thundering and lightning when a longtime dry earth in
the valley last week watered the land very well. Some
valley areas measured 3 inches and more. . What a
blessing. The new crops of a If a If a and grain are beau-
tifully green. The Washburn Dam, 6 miles west of Dell
City had substantial extra water The gate on the prin-
ciple spillway is partly open, and water has been flow-
ing from the dam for several days. This week’s weather
has been blue skies and snow white clouds , weather in
the 70’s, and cool nights.

This week is a special week to many people. To
some it will be a time of hiding easter eggs and gifts on
Easter morning, to others it is a long weekend to enjoy
the family. To some it will be a special time to
remember that Jesus Christ arose from the tomb to live
eternally and provide that life Tor you if you choose it.
I hunted eggs as a child and I hide them for my
children, but I also explain the true meaning of Easter. I
want my children to know the love that Christ has for
each of them, so much love that He gave his life so they
can live eternally. It is a choice that each person must
make. Do you give your children all of the information
about what Easter is. If you have to make a choice
about Easter will it just be eggs and bunnies or will it be
Christ.
Make a choice to know the truth and worship
with your family.
