final day of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Sandra reports that they received a lot of stares
as the group made its way through the Livestock
show. Attending were: Diane Sustsita, Theresa Am-
mons, Mary Hayman, Teresa Pettit, Connie Bro-
derick, Sherry Crowhurst, Grace DeLa Garza,
Tammy Hohman, Christina Hutton, Terry Lea.

An inquiry class for those interested in investi-
gating the Catholic faith will be held on Wednesday
nights at the rectory beginning on Wednesday,
March 31 at 7:30. The class will be taught by Rev.
Joe Krupa. For more information al] the Religious
Education Office at 481-4251.
. Dr. A.' B. Lightfoot, an evangelist from Kerr-
ville, Texas will conduct revival services at Kings-
point Baptist Church beginning April 11 and con-
tinuing through April 16. Services wjl) begin at 7:30
weekday evenings and Sunday services will be at
10:55 a.m. and 7:0u p.m.
Dr. Lightfoot has conducted crusades through-
out America and in Mexico, Guatemala, and Europe.
In addition to his preaching ministry, he is also
known as a humorist and magician. His messages
on Christianity are blended with humor. He em-
phasizes morality, patriotism and the Christian life
through his magic presentations, adding a new di-
mension for helping people understand the message
of the Bible. His “magic with a message” programs
for school assemblies have proven to be particularly
popular with young audiences throughout America.

The Almeda Mall Area Ministers are sponsor-
ing a series of films and discussion on the Thurs-
days of Lent. Films are being shown at Sagemont
Presbyterian Church, 11303 Hughes Road from 8-

Work on two new fields, a
concession stand, and rest-
room facilities are progress-
ing “at a geed place” accor-
ding to Sagemont Beverly
Hills Little League Officials,
but much work still needs to
be done.
Baseball season is due to
begin the 5th of April. The
season will be declared of-
ficially open Sunday, April 4
when the Booster Club will
hold their annual carnival.
This will be the first Car-
nival to be held at the Uni-
ted Sports Association ball
fields.
Sharon Cooner, president
of the mother’s booster club
has announced that since ol-
der boys will be participat-
ing in. the program, some
change was made in plan-
ning for the carnival. “We
had to come up with ideas
the older boys would enjoy.”
