Tradition has it that Grandma's is the place to go for
Thanksgiving.
Wherever you spend the holidays, do yourself a favor and
drive with extra caution.
Anyplace is better this Thanksgiving than where you’ll wind
up if you're involved in a traffic accident.
So drive the friendly way Take the extra time it takes to
be safe.

He estimated that half of the
carriers have now switched to
radials and they will be putting
on radial snows this winter.
“I’ve tried rad'i'afs and’ I know
they’re pretty good in the snow,
but I don’t think they're as good
as radial snow tires," he said.
The Tire Industry Safety
Council survey covered state
police and highway patrols in
California, Idaho, Iowa, Illinois,
Maryland, Massachusetts,
Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri,
New York, Pennsylvania, Vir-
ginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Only one state, Missouri,
reported its highway patrol does
not use snow tires of any kind.
They use regular highway tires
the year around, with snow
chains available in the car for
emergencies.
Michigan and New York state
police do not use radials but
change to conventional snow
tires in snow areas.

control them for you.
• Use low-watt bulbs where you can.
