On Thursday, January 13, Can-
tor George Wagner has formed an
Adult Jewish Music Class which
meets at 7 p. m. on Thursdays, as a
part of our Institute of Jewish
Studies. This course consists of a
brief survey of the History of Jew-
ish music and, for the most part,
the latest songs of Israel as well as
Yiddish songs are taught.
If you love music and have any
kind of singing voice, you are cord-
ially invited to attend.
If you wish to register for this
course, please contact Bettye Co-
hen at our Beth Yeshurun office.

The fourth annual meeting of
Congregation Beth Yeshurun will
take place Sunday night, February
6, at 6:30, at the College Inn. It will
take the form of a dinner, at which
the new officers will be elected
and reports given of the work of
the past year. The President of our
Congregation, Moe Mandel; the
President of our Sisterhood, Mrs.
David Jaffe; the President of our
Men‘s Club, Saul B. Lieberman
will all present reports of what
they have accomplished during the
past year; the Chairmen of the
various Committees will present
their reports and make their recom
mendations for the coming year’s
activities.
There will be a program of ent-
ertainment, under the direction of
our Cantor, George Wagner; and
there will be an opportunity for
seeing our old friends.
