increasing constantly. We would also observe that the
property that could be lost thru lack of f

A/ith the aid of the new advisory committee and the
action of newly appointed Fire Chief, Earl Freitag,
HBVFD is now ready for action. The fire truck, new-
ly painted and well equipped, is ready for use While
phone numbers you may call in the event of a fire
will involve several numbers, places and persons, a
central number which will automatically reach all of
the individuals ready and able to respond will be a-
vailable soon. It should be in use with the complet-
ion of the new fire house on which construction i s
proceeding rapidly. This marks the actual beginning
of the functions of the HBVFD and, compared with
similar experiences in other communities, we have pro-
gressed reasonably well. With completion of the new
headquarters on Rt. 620 we will actually be far ahead
of many other such projects. While some folks have
rowing the fire extinguisher from the fire truck in Tra-

without delay or the necessity of their havinq to ao
after it ??? Thanks
