Leander School District will fill four places
in their election on that same day with Mar.
1, 4 P.M. being the deadline for filing. The
four places include the two now occupied by
Bryan Sullivan and Mrs. Deana Sherman, for
three year terms and two vacancies, one for
a two year term and the other for a one year
term, created by resignations.
The Leander School District will also have a
bond election on March 11th (Saturday) to
approve a bond issue in the amount of $510,
000 covering their immediate needs. This
sum is considerably less than the amount
asked in previous elections and it is hoped
that the voters will approve it to provide ur-
gently needed facilities for this rapidly grow-
ing school district.
We are reminded that while voters may not
have children attending school within these
districts, as taxpayers they are involved in
their management. School Board members are

As I'm sure you can tell, there are many areas
of service in your P.T.S.A. for anyone de-
siring to become involved in school related
activities. If you have not been asked to as-
sist, perhaps it is because no one knows you
are interested.
