Marvin Kruse is looking into the possibility of
Norma and John Hutchinson and their two boys,
Travis and Douglas, spent Easter weekend at the
beach at Aransas Pass... along with Norma's sister
and her husband and children., Dr. and Mrs. David
Jamison of San Antonio.
It was so cold and wet they couldn't even get in
the water and had to come home early!
Rita Creech announced a patio sale on the patio
of Highland Lakes Inn on Saturday , May 5 Come
sell your unwanted items and buy someone else's!
We almost had a really Big Story! It seems Con-
stable Gene Collier decided to move his mobile home
from behind V-J's Grocery.
There lie was. . in his official car along with
several uniformed men as helpers along with their
cars, and a U-Haul trailer. The word spread faster
tlian a cedar brush fire in August that the constable
was making such a large drug haul he was confiscating
a mobile home and needed a trailer to haul all of it!
As it turned out, Collier was only moving his
own trailer to another site. Well, there's another
big scoop down the drain!

l hope this column finds all of you folks well and
at peace with the world. The flowers on the roadside
are such a joy to behold! Isn't it a shame to spoil
their lovely faces with beer bottles and soda cans?
Ann Hightower is out of the hospital and doing
well after gall bladder surgery.
On Wednesday (April 25) Margaret White had a
beautiful coffee disguised as a Tupperware Party,
About 12 women attended and we had a wonderful
time in Margaret's lovely home.
Speaking of Tupperware, did you know we have
our own Tupperware dealer living out here? She is
Marcy Jones ( formerly Marcy Masterson). So anyone
wanting to have a party, give her a call
We also have oi* own Avon lady, Kay Wise.

Dick Miller just returned from a 3 -week tour of
Washington, D. C., with a D. A. R. group. She was
a DAR convention delegate, and reported that the
cherry blossoms were beautiful, but I'll bet they
weren't any prettier than our bluebonnets, yucca,
and all the other colorful beauties we have!
