Chyrrel Mock, a member ol the Quail
Springs church, Oklahoma City, has been
named National Donor Family Liaison lor
the American Red Cross. This appointment
came out of a decision by Chyrrel and her
husband. Dick, to donate tissue from their
daughter, Anna, who had died in a car acci-
dent.
NASHVILLE. TENNESSEE
Roy Beasley, a member
of the Woodson Chapel
church. Nashville, was hon-
ored by the church for 50
years of preaching and 25
years as founder of Restora-
tion Radio Network Int i., a
worldwide broadcast.

board/ announcements.html.
Speaking of websites, have you visited the
Chronicle website? Our webmaster, Ken
Green, is still fine-tuning it, adding a classi-
fied section to the April edition. There is
much more we would like to do w ith our site,
but since Ken donates his time, we cannot
realistically expect even as much as he does
to provide it as a service.
The very first Pan European Lectureship
is set for July 31 to August 7 in Rome. For
35 years the Pan American Lectureship has
challenged Christians and encouraged work-
ers in Latin America. The same years have
seen the church multiply throughout the
region from Mexico to Argentina and into the
Caribbean. Now its European counterpart is
on the calendar. Over the decades it should
help stimulate a sizeable expansion of the
work in Europe. Be a Pan-European pioneer.
Join us in Rome. For details contact Jim
Frazier at 1 (800) 533-7660.
There has been no small stir over a classi-
fied ad in our March issue about a young
woman seeking a youth ministry position.
After clarifying the matter with her, that ad
has been corrected. She really seeks a posi-
tion working under a youth minister to help
girls in youth groups. Some who contacted us
felt that we had sold out to the "almighty”
dollar. This is untrue. Classified ads do not
make us money. By the time they are entered,
set, run and billed, the $50 base price has
been gobbled up. Classified ads are not really
economically viable. Rather, they are a ser-
vice to the brotherhood.
I’m wondering why we are so quick to
think the worst of others. Is this how God
would have us act? What does the Word say?

In contrast to
the drunken and

scene for many
college spring break groups, Christian col-
leges and universities emphasize service.
During the week-long spring break students
and their sponsors travel all over the United
States and to other countries, engaging in
relief, aid, teaching and other projects. The
Currents Page shares a sampling of these
groups and their work this spring.
Women of God is a group, originating in
