Company G., Hood Boone com-
manding, returned Saturday
night from Leon Springs, the
grounds recently acquired by
the government for the yearly
maneuvers. The officers were
much pleased with not only the enoughi of itte'” honor i?bythei?
camp, especially its location, but presence. Most of the - soldiers
with the gendial instruction re- °t the guard vote, and it might
Ceived. Owing to this being the < h0^ be amiss for those who have

6 ! reason all this is expected to
disappear. Leon Springs is
some eleven hundred and odd
feet above sea level and an ideal
spot for a maneuver camp. The
water is said to be of a very fine
quality, though this year it was
distressingly scarce, owing to
the short time in which to make
preparations. All this will be
overcome by next year, when it
is expected that a macnificient
system of sanitation also will be
installed.
