Tough For

ATLANTA, Ga. <U.P) — Ameri-

ing to Hsiang Lln-hl a student at
Emory University here.
He said he still was embaras-
sed about having addressed a
man with "Hi, babe.”
In spite of the difficulties, the

vLiM Suit Against
Houston U Dismissed
HOUSTON, Sept 13 «IP> -* A
$150,000 libel suit against the
University of Houston and its
board of regents has been dis-
missed by District Judge Wilmer
B. Hunt
It was filed by a law student
who ran unsuccessfully for the
legislature last year, Olen T.
Jones, Jr.
Hunt has ruled with the uni-
versity that a suit can not be
maintained against it for libel
allegedly committed by a student
newspaper. In this case, the
newspaper is "The Cougar," pub-
lished weekly by the University
of Houston Department of Jour-
nalism.
Jones, acting as his own attor-
ney, based his suit on an article
about him published in a July,
1950, "Cougar."
