To the members of the graduating
class-I wish to extend greetings and wish
you well as you leave this Preflight School.
You may often wonder why you are going to
school and also ask yourself what you are
fighting for. Our President has said, "We
are fighting for Four Freedoms."
Any way you look at it you are fighting
and preparing yourself to fight for whatever
the word "freedom" means to you. If the
work in your future schools seems hard, just
remember that you are doing it of your own
free will and are not at the point of a bayonet.
The slight inconveniences which beset you
are something you will laugh about in future
years when you reflect on the good work you
have done for humanity. Don't forget it-you
are doing good work.
Good luck-I hope to see you in the
Battle Zone.
