The Membership Committee under the
chairmanship of Mr. Robert A. Epstein
and the co-chairmanship of Mr. Harry
Zuber and Mr. J. D. Desenberg needs
your help. Over forty new members have
been brought within the fellowship of the
Congregation, and the committeemen
are contacting many others. Each mem-
ber of the Congregation can help secure
prospects by (1) being on the alert for
newcomers to the city and for people
who are unaffiliated and (2) telephoning
the Temple office, JA 3-6679 and giving
the names of prospects. Secure as much
information as possible, such as residence
address, home telephone number, offizm
telephone number, number of childi®
and any other item that would be help-
ful. After 5:00 P. M. the names of pros-
pects may be given to our automatic
phone answering service for processing
the following morning.
NEW MEMBERSHIP POLICY
The Congregation Beth Israel extends
its warmth through the adoption of a new
membership policy:
A full membership without cost for
one year only is offered to unaffiliated
persons of the Jewish Faith living in
Houston or its environs, who are under
28 years of age.
Many newcomers, newly marrieds, sin-
gle men and women are now availing
themselves of this opportunity.
Beth Israel members are requested to
call the Temple office and give us the
names of any eligible prospects.
