Parents of the groom hosted a
rehearsal dinner at the American
Legion Hall in Leonard on Thurs-
day evening.
Richardson.
The bride, who was given in
polyester organza. The bodice
featured a Queen Anne neckline,
Venice lace and scattered seed
pearls. The sheer full bishop
sleeves held lace appliques.
The raised waist fell to a full
skirt circled with a two tiered
flounce accented with rolled
edges. Covered buttons and an at-
tached chapel train adorned the
back.
The Venice lace and pearl
covered cap of the veil held two
layers of illusion accented with
lace and a rolled edge. Her bou-
quet held silk flowers of phalenop-
sis orchids, dogwood blossoms,
English ivy and ribbons of ivory
and rust tied in love knots.

Garland before an altar of brass
candelabra and cresent of tapers
enhanced by baskets of English

marked with wicker bells and
cascades of English ivy.
Parents of the couple are Mr.
and Mrs. James Norvell of Allen
and Mr. and Mrs. John A. Davis
of Blue Ridge.
The bride, given in marriage by

Juanna Moats both of Leonard
and Nanette Jackson of Garland.
They wore matching gowns of
dark emerald green accented with
ivory satin waistbands. They car-
ried nosegays of the same flowers
as the brides bouquet atop wicker
fans.
Attendants for the groom were
his brother, James Davis as best
man and Joe Cantrell both of Blue
Ridge and Mike McCreary of
Ozark, Ark.
Candlelighters were Misses
Sallie and Kelly Oliver of Trenton
and Mr. Shane Dockery of
Garland, cousins of the bride.
Ushers were Mike Hamilton of
Plano and David Douglas of

Methodist University where she
is a member of Delta Sigma Phi.
Mr. Davis is a graduate of Blue
Ridge High School, East Texas
State University and Harvard
Business School. He is employed
in the purchasing department of
Frito-Lay, Inc. in Dallas.
