Word reached Mrs. A. J. Wat-
kins July 16 of the death of her
sister-in-law,Mrs. T. J. Hawkins,
of Kilgore. Mr. and Mrs. Haw-
kins lived in this community
several years ago. - she leaves a
husband, four children and a
large number of other relatives
and friends to mourn her death.

day night and broke two of his
, ribs, besides getting badly
bruised and hurt otherwise. He
was having the floor repaired and
forgot about the flooring being
torn away when he stepped out
where it had, been, but the sleep-
ers still remained.
