AFTER FOURTEEN YEARS OF
SUFFERING.
--O——
At the request of the Texas Grain
Dealers’ association. the Insurance
commissioner has accepted an invita-
tion to deliver an address before the
association at its next annual meeting
to be held in the city of Waco on May
32-23. His subject will be: "What
Benefits Would Accrue From an Em-
dent Official Bureau for Gathering
and Disseminating Agricultural and
Industrial Statistics, and Should the
Legislature of Texas Provide for the
Maintenance of Such a Bureau."
It is known that Mr. Johnson
heartily favors the idea of rehubiitat-
ing the agricultural department which
was abolished several years ago by the
legislature failing to make proper pro-
vision for its maintenance.
