1. What college did you graduate from? I graduated college
from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Administrative Systems in 2004. I then went back and got my
Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar
University in Beaumont.
2. If you were able to donate a million dollars to any char-
ity, which one would you choose and why? If I could donate
a million dollars to any charity, I would actually donate to two
different organizations. The first would be the American
Cancer Society. I believe that cancer is something that needs
to continue to be researched, and I have seen the effects of can-
cer on lives. The other would be Autism Speaks. I believe that
this organization does great things to spread the word about
Autism that many people do not understand.
3. Name four adjectives that would best describe you when
you were a student in high school? Oh my, that is a tough
one. I would have to say the four that best describe me are
friendly, loyal, fun, and conscientious. I was friends with all
different groups of people (athletes, metal heads (our word
back then), cowboys, and all other groups. I was very con-
cerned about my grades as well. And I was loyal to my friends,
sometimes to a fault.

then, I would have never sold that Car!! Still regret doing that!
5. Which historical event would you have liked to have wit-
nessed? Not really one historical event, but being a spoils guy,
it would have to be watching Babe Ruth play baseball. I am a
huge baseball guy, and just hearing stories about the way he
played the game, it would have been great to see him play. I
know it doesn’t really answer the question, but that would be
it.
6. What is your middle name? My middle name is Lane. I am
not named after anyone. I do not know where my parents came
up with the name. I have looked for people in my family
named Lane, and I have looked for famous people that were
named Lane back when I was bom, and I can’t find anyone.
LOL
7. Do you have any pets? I have one dog named Biscuit. She
is mostly cocker spaniel, with a little bit of schnauzer mix. She
is a great dog. My son Drew named her Biscuit.
8. If you could work as an assistant to anyone for a year,
who would you choose? It would have to be the President of
the United States. I think it would be great to see what actual-
ly goes on behind the scenes in the White House and the Oval
office. I have always been interested in politics, and that would
be something that would be great to do. The president I would
most like to have worked as an assistant to would have been
Ronald Reagan.
9. What makes you laugh the hardest? It would have to be
when my kids are being silly. They make me laugh all the time,
and when they are happy, they are really, really funny kids. My
son-Drew is a lot like me, which makes it even funnier.
10. What do you know now, that you didn’t know then? I
didn’t realize when I was in high school how much work being
