Gustine Hill Shaw, 86, of
Gilmer were held at 2 p.m.
Friday, March 6, at Croley
Chapel with Bro. Glen
Dunaway and Bro. Wilton
Jones officiating.
Burial was at Sand Hill
Cemetery.
Mrs. Shaw died Wednes-
day, March 4, in Gilmer.
A native and lifetime resi-
dent of Upshur County, she
was born Sept. 16,1912. She
was a homemaker and a mem-
ber of Sand Hill Baptist
Church.
Her husband, Lorenza
Shaw, preceded her in death
on March 13,1997.
She was also preceded in
death by two sisters, Felice
Jones and O’Bera Jenkins,
and two brothers, G.C. Hill,
Jr., and Alene Hill.
She is survived by two
daughters and sons-in-law,
Peggy and Jim Gatlin of
Bastrop and Angie and David
Elwood of White Oak; five
grandchildren, Michaelle
Robardey, Port Robardey, Jr.,
Millette Robardey Upchurch,
Christopher Shaw Elwood
and Alecia Dawn Elwood; two
great-grandchildren. Mia
Hall and Blake Upchurch; and
11 step-great-gTEmdchildren.
