The devotional, "‘Missions
in the Message of Regenera-
tion,” was given by Mrs. Wills
taken from Ephesians 2:1-10.
Mrs. Wills voiced the closing
prayer.

Held Monday
Funeral services were held
Monday at 2 p.m. for Ira
Wright, Route 1, Cookville at
the Lone Star Baptist Church.
Burial was in the Lone Star
Cemetery.
Wright died at 3 p.m. Satur-
day in his home. He was born
February 15, 1885 in Titus
County. v
He is survived by three
daughters, Mrs. Floyd Har-
vey, Cookville, Mrs. R. P.
Campbell, Kileen, and Mrs.
Henry Rust, Mt. Pleasant;
one son, Sherman Wright. Ro-
tan; 12 grandchildren; and
one sister, Mrs. Mattie Gauntt
Cookville.
Officiating ministers were
the Rev. Garnett Walker and
the Rev. H. L. Hamilton.
of Titus County. Air friends and relatives are invited.

A plea to be cautious of it-
inerant salespeople was issued
by the Mount Pleasant Cham-
ber of Commerce Tuesday.
Especially during this time
of year with Christmas ap-
proaching itinerant merchants
move into the area, said John
Etheredge, C-C manager.
