Effective January 1, 1975, the following changes in the "GRADUATION
HONORS" section of the 1974-75 Academic Bulletin, Page 90:
Members of the graduating class who have a grade-point average of 3.45
or above on all work taken prior to semester or term of graduation are
classified as "honor graduates."
Within this classification, certain qualifying students may be designated
as graduating with "highest honors," "high honor" or "honors".
A student must complete 45 or more semester hours at Lamar University
prior to semester or term of graduation to be eligible for graduation
honors.

authorized by the Board of Regents until another supplement or another
catalog issue of the bulletin is published.
Lamar University was established as a four-year coeducational state-
supported institution on September 1951.
