Watchtower Society Proved False - Again •
Predictions of the end of time have always characterized the Jehovah Witness
sect It began with William Miller, a Seventh Day Adventist, who founded the
sect He started with 1874 and worked up to 1914 which he proclaimed would mark
the end of the present world order When that prediction proved false (as all others
did), they slipped out of the spot, by claiming Jesus came secretly to establish the
“beginning" of the kingdom Judge Rutherford succeded Russel and he gave 1918
as the next date, which, naturally, failed
. Rutherford then wrote his infamous book. Millons Naw Lving Will Never Die
in which he fixed 1925 as the end Naturally it didn‘4 happen, and Rutherford -
along with other millions, died: ------—
In spite of such failure, gullible people continue to follow such blind leaders
Moses said “When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow
not. nor cor e to pass that is the thing which the Lord hath NOT spoken, but the
prophet hath spoken it presumptiously thou shall not be afraid of him
। Deuteronomy 10 22* ___
For several years the Witnesses pointed to 4975 taround October as the real
end of all things - the time for the battle of Armageddon In their book Lfe
Everlasting la Freedom Of The Sons Of God < 1966, pg 29-35) they state that
six thousand years from man's creation will end in 1975. and the seventh period
of a thousand years of human history will begin in the Fall of 1973 This dale is
set to mark the beginning of Christ s millennial reign on earth it would not be
by mere chance or accident but would be according to the loving purpewe ot
. Jehovah God for the reign of Jesus Christ, the Lord of the Sabbath to run
parallel with the seventh millennium of man's existence Thus the Fall of 1975
was to see the end of this world order, and the beginning of Christs reign on
earth. THEY WERE WRONG AGAIN’
As this sect has proven to be a group of false prophets, thus bearing God s
denunciation, why will people have confidence in them and their teaching’ We
unabashedly claim that everything peculiar to this sect if false and we are ready
to defend this statement publicly Darwin Chandler
