DAVID BURATTI
David, better known as “Piaga,”
has been a day student at St.
Edward’s for the past four years.
During his time here he has been
an active member of the football
team for three years and the base-
ball team for four years. He made
All State his third year. He is
a member of the National Honor
Society.
After graduating he plans to
attend St. Edward University
where he will take up Pre-Engi-
neering.

DONNIE GLASSCOCK
Donnie has been here for four
years. He was a member of the
Rifle team and the Radio Club
his freshman year. This year he
adds a strong voice to the Glee
Club. Donnie hails from San An-
tonio. Water skiing is his favorite
sport and photography his hobby.
After graduation he will go over
to our University to major in
Business Administration and later
go into the insurance business.

RODOLFO LEHMANN
Rudy has been at St. Edward
for three years. He comes from
the industrial city of Monterrey,
Mexico. Rudy is five minutes old-
er than his brother, Juan. He
was in the National Honor Society
his sophomore year. In his senior
year he came out for football and
played left halfback. He was also
in the cast of the play, Gianni
Schicci. After finishing school here
he intends to go to Oklahoma
University where he will take up
chemical engineering. The broth-
ers Lehmann plan on going into
partnership after college.

CHARLES PORFIRIO
Charles is an Austinite, born on
January 12th, 1940. He has been
at St. Edward since the eighth
grade where he played cub foot-
ball and placed second in the
Declamation Contest. In his high
school years he has lettered in
football and basketball for two
years and baseball three years.
This year he is a member of the
Echo staff. On graduating he will
become a business administration
major at Texas University.
ST. EDWARD ECHO
RAYMOND WILLIAM SOLCHER
This is Ray’s fourth year on the
hill and his first year as a board-
er. He makes his home in Dallas.
During his stay on the hill, he
has been on the football team
for the last three years and on
the boxing team for one.
Ray is now serving on the
student council as treasurer and
on the “E” club as Chairman. He
is again on the Echo staff.
After high school, Ray plans to
take chemical engineering at just
any one of the colleges in this
wide United States.
DAN COLLINS
Dan has been a day student on
the hill for the past four years.
While attending St. Edward he
has participated in the following
activities: Freshman class Vice
President, Sophomore class Secre-
tary, Junior class Vice President,
and Senior class President. Dan
played one year on the football
team. The other two years he
was unable to play because of
knee injuries. Dan plans on going
out for baseball later on in the
season. After graduating he ex-
pects to attend the University of
Texas and will take up Psycholo- .
gy. Good luck, Dan!

JUAN LEHMANN
Juan has been at St. Edward
for the past three years all of
which he has thoroughly enjoyed.
Juan comes from Monterrey, Mex-
ico. This year he joined the Tiger
football team where he played
right tackle and showed himself
to be a real Tiger. If you at-
tended the play, Gianni Schicchi,
you saw Juan as the witness. He
was praised for his excellent act-
ing. After graduation Juan plans
to attend Oklahoma University
where he will take up Chemical
Engineering.

DICK COSTELLO
Dick made his way to us last
year as a junior from Mexico
City, but since then he has made
his home in Caracas, Venezuela.
Last year Dick helped the Tiger
football team to many victories
as halfback. Later on in the
season he helped the baseball team
to go all the way to the State
Championship. This year he was
ineligible to play either sport be-
cause of league rules. Aside from
sports, he presides as vice presi-
dent of the Senior Class.
After graduation Dick plans on
enrolling at the University of Mi-
ami where he will take up Busi-
ness Administration.
