Milken Educator Award
A San Antonio ISD teacher got the surprise of her life Feb. 18
when Gov. Greg Abbott and Commissioner of Education Mike
Morath came to her school to announce that she had won the

Early college high schools
Early college high schools are innovative high schools that allow
students least likely to attend college an opportunity to earn a
high school diploma and either an associate degree or at least
60 college credit hours toward a baccalaureate degree.
