Tuesday seemed to the day for Bon- [
ham to play baseball. While the Lion
and Fannin Club teams were playing I
here, the team- of the Fannin County ,
League was over at Dodd City en- 1
gaged in a game with the Dood City ।
team.
From reports of that game it must [
have been a good one—indeed the
score shows that very conclusively
being 1 to 0. It was described as a
pitchers’ battle throughout. Bonham
getting four hits, and Dodd City only-
two. The batteries were Stansbury
and McCulloch for Bonham, and Rich-
ardson and Taylor for Dodd City. A
fair crowd saw the game.
The Bonham Club, in thisi league is
now going good. The Club has played
six games, losing three of them. If
it could win the remaining four sched-
uled it could win.the pennant. It can
certainly go a long way toward that
goal. if the fans will attend the games
and encourage the team. It takes side-
line rooting to win even a mumblepeg
game.
The Bonham team plays Ravenna
this afternoon at Ravenna, and Tren-
ton here Thursday.
