Nationally Advertised Brands Week, Sept. 17th
to 27th. Eleven days during which the Druggists
who take part will give away things, just like they
did at the Democratic Convention at Fort Worth
this week.
Who ever heard of a Druggist giving you any-
thing more than an empty cigar box ?
They took up a collection at the convention.
Hope the donors do not expect too large a dividend
on their investment. Just wondered if they kick in
for church purposes and the Lord’s work as liberally.
The Lord pays the best dividend now and always.
You draw dividends from him 365 to 366 days a year,
and in advance, too.
The Convention also passed resolutions for the
next legislature to write and pass laws to make our
people vote honestly and fair—you know how that
is, or don’t you ? What is wrong with our last pri-
mary election? Who knows? Why change now?
