Mrs. J. K. Boone attended the
Lone Star Florists Convention in
Austin last Monday, which con-
vened last week in Austin for the
first time since 1919. There was
a wonderful display of flowers
and florists saw the latest in flo-

fields in America, Hawaii and
elsewhere for the occasion.

recognition and acclaim among
the churches of Christ throughout
♦the nation. Its travels embraces
some 15,000 miles each year. The
Bel Canto Chorus has appeared
many tires on television and na-
„tion_wide radio broadcasts. Their
^recorded songs have been featur-
ed on many religious programs.

Hebbe Reunion
The descendants of Julia and
eFredrick Hebbe held their 10th
Reunion at the Circle R Park in
Round Rock Sunday, July 8th,
with Herman Hodde of Austin pre
siding as chairman.

Mrs. Oscar Hebbe of Austin
was in charge of the afternoon's
aprogram.
It was reported that during
the year there was one death, one
marriage and six births, making
the total living members now 383.

III at 3:00 p. m. on Tuesday,

The meeting opened with a

107 Attend Pfluger Reunion
The George Pfluger Reunion
was held Sunday, July 8th at the
tF. H. Pfluger grove with 107 at-
tending.
A barbecue dinner was served
at noon with C. J. Kuempel, I. B.
Krienke and George Pfluger in
•charge of the arrangements.
Officers elected to serve for the
coming year were: Walter Klat-
tenhoff, Charles Kuempel and

Sewing Circle Meets
The Sewing Circle met Wed-
nesday afternoon at the home of

After spending the winter in
Elgin with Mrs. Edwin Bronaugn,
Mr. and Mrs. George Babes and
children have returned to Houston
where they are comfortably ana
pleasantly located. Mrs. Bro-
