explain the new Agriculture
Act-Public Law 85-835 which
deals with the cotton and grain
program for 1959.
Ginners, grain and storage
operators and other agricultu-

and all farmers in the Elgin

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Culp
of 1409 Concordia, Austin, Tex-
as, are announcing the birth
of twins-a girl and boy-who
were born Jan. 8, 1959 at St.
Davids Hospital in Austin.
The children have been named
Tami Lynn and Stephen. The
girl weighed in 6 pounds 1
ounce and her brother tipped
the scales at 5 pounds even.
The Culps are also parents of
an older son, David Alan, age
3 1 2 years.
The proud grandparents are

Mr. Enders was the grand-

ders one of Elgin’s pioneer
business women. He had been
associated with Southwestern

eral services were held at 3:30
p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
from Cook Funeral Home in
Austin with the Rev. John Bar-
clay officiating. Burial was in
Austin Memorial Park.
Mrs. Severn was a member
of Central Christian Church.
She is survived by her hus-
band, Mr. R. Severn of 1621
Enfield Road, Austin; one son,
J. Mack Severn, Austin; and one
sister. Mrs. Linnie .Daniels,
Oklahoma City. Okla. One son,
Lynn Severn preceded his mo-
ther in death during the fam-
ily’s residence in Elgin. They
have resided in Austin for
many years but since she was
active in church, social and
school circles, and was in their
place of business, frequently
she made many friends who
will regret to learn of her death
and will remember her for the
lovely, gracious and friendly
lady that she was.
