which would give a first-class

something long desired.
County Judge Pool, when

Goliad People Should Not Wait
Until It Is Too Late
The appalling death-rate from
kidney disease is due in most
cases to the fact that the little
kidney troubles are usually neg-

The slight symptoms often give
place to chronic disorders and the
sufferer may slip gradually into
some serious form of kidney com-
plaint.
If you suffer from backache,
headaches, dizzy spells; if the
kidney secretions are irregular of

About the New Roads
County Judge Passmore of
Goliad County, who spent part
of the day here on hia way to
Houeton, stated that his county
would soon begin road building
on an extensive scale.
The judge said no bonde would
be issued for the purpose, but
instead there would be an issu-
ance of county warrants to the
amount of $120,000 payable in
about 20 years.
Judge Passmore said it was.
planned to build 62 miles of sand
clay road coating about $’,000 a
mile, and to grade about 75
miles f road at a cost of ap-
proximately $40,0 0 0, leaving
about $18,000 for the mainten-
ance of the roads.
The roads that will receive the
most attention will be those be-
tween Fannin and Goliad, Goli-
ad and Berclair and Weser, Go-
liad and Charco and Goliad and
Germantown.
Judge Passmore declared that
whenever Victoria county built a
good road to the Goliad county
line he would guarantee a good
road from Fannin to connect
with it. This, he said, would
give a first class highway from
Victoria via Goliad, Berclair and
Beeville to Corpus Christi when
the proposed road work in Goli-
ad county is completed.—Victor-
ia Advocate.
