A s we approach the annual celebration of the birth
of Christ, we are reminded of the fundamentals of
Christianity. During the nearly two thousand years
since the life of Christ on Earth, many things have
changed in many ways but the true concept of Christ-
ianity, the principles and fundamentals upon which
is was founded, has remained steadfastly the same. The
belief in Christ is held firmly in the hearts of Christians
today, as it was held, and has been held since He lived
on Earth.
Somehow it seems to me the true concept of State
Parks resembles Christianity in this respect. If there
had been State Parks during Christ's life on Earth, I
feel they would appear much the same today as they
did nearly two thousand years ago, preserving the
original beauty of Nature as created by God.
I wish for all a Merry Christmas, celebrated in the
true spirit of the holiday season.
