A marriage of much interest
was solemnized Tuesday at 2
o’clock p. m., at 201 Botetourt
Apartment, Norfolk, Va., when
Miss Inez Catherine Bradley be-
came the bride of Dr. Herbert
Edward Roensch, Kenney, Tex.,
Rev. Sparks W. Melton, pastor of
Freemason Baptist Church, of-
ficiating. The bride is the old-
est daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
James R. Bradley, of Seaboard,
N. C., and is a young lady of
many admirable traits of charac-
ter, loved and admired by all of
her home town and vicinity. She
was educated at E. C. T. T.
Carolina) Progress, the home
paper of the bride, speaks for it-
self of her charming personality,
and she is being warmly wel-
comed by those among whom she
has come to make her home. On
Mrs. Chitwood and daughter,
Miss Exa, recently of Chico, are
spending some time with Mes-
dames McElvy and Allen, before
going to their new home in North
Carolina.
Mrs. A. H. Kolletof La Grange
spent the past week-end with her
sister, Mrs. W. L. Thomas.
Miss Burns was a visitor to
Houston Saturday.
A meeting of the O. E. S. was
held in the hall Tuesday, and at
the noon hour, a delicious lunch
Norfolk, the possibility that he
might return with a bride was
felt by the immediate members
of his family, but word of the
happy event came as a complete
surprise to his friends in general.
On their return to Texas, Dr.
and Mrs. Roensch spent some
time in Cincinnatti, St. Louis,
and Fort Worth, and after a brief
visit here with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. F. Roensch, went on to
Kenney, where they are making
their home with Mr. and Mrs. J.

a number of little tots in honor
of her tiny daughter, Miss Doris

on the lawn provided pleasure for
the little guests, after which
dainty refreshments were served.
Mrs. W. R. Monroe was hos-
