Bellville people are working
hard for the biggest 4th of July
Free Barbecue ever held in South
Texas. This barbecue is daddied
by the Bellville Chamber of
Commerce and has the whole
hearted support of the Bellville
TurnVerein. In connection
with this we wish to say that the
Bellville Turnverein has one of
the most beautiful parks in all
of Texas. Fifteen acres of land
are in this park, and there is a
splendid baseball diamond on
the north side of this tract of
land. There are also hundreds
of beautiful, huge trees in this
park that will furnish shade for
tens of thousands of visitors.
Bellville's hospitality is known
throughout this section of the
state, and should Bellville’s vis-
itors at this celebration exceed
ten thousand, we here in Bell-
ville feel able to make the day
pleasant for each and every one.
The public roads leading into
Bellville are now in good condi-
tion. and the Santa Fe daily runs
six passenger trains through
here. Bellville, the town on
hills, joined by her enterprising
people of the rural districts,
welcomes you every day in the
year—and on next July 4th in
particular. Come, seek, and you
will find that Bellville has in the
past and will always do her full
share to make this world a bet-
ter place to live.

Barbecue to a successful conclu-
