Auto Stripped
At Green Aaes
A 1965 G.T.O. Pontiac was
found by a hunter after it had
been stripped at Green Acres,
according to Constable Joe
Hoog.
The car is owned by Rich-
ard Kendriok of San Antonio.
All the glass was, broken
out and oil had been sprayed
over the interior of the car to
conceal fingerprints.
The theft was under inves-
tigation.

burglarized Oct. 27, according
to the Medina County sher-
iff’s Office. A .22 rifle, TV,
clock radio, and vacuum clean-
er were reported missing. In-
vestigators said a suspect

continuing in the burglary of

MRS. JACOB SCHWEERS
Services were Friday, Oct.
27, at Hurley Funeral Chapel,
Hondo, and Quihi Cemetery for
Mrs. Jacob (Louisa) Schweers, 89.
She died in the hospital at
Hondo Wednesday, Oct. 25.
Survivors include sons,
Charles, Andrew, clarence.,
Frank, and Harry Schweers,
all of Hondo; daughters, Mrs.
H. C. Muennink, Mrs. Theo
Cagle, and Mrs. William Sant-
leben, Hondo, Mrs. Lee A.
Beard Jr., Dunlay, and Mrs.
Viola Rountree, 'Huntington
Beach, Calif.; 27 grandchil-
dren; 50 great-grandchildren;
and 2 great-great-grandchil-
dren.
For the general information
of all patrons, dispatching of
the mall is as follows at Cas-
troville Post Office:
First class mail and parcels
are received at night and at
7:15 a.m. and distributed to
the boxes by 8 a.m. Another
pouch of 1st class mail is re-
ceived at 9 a.m. and distribut-
ed by 9:20 a.m.
Mall is dispatched to San
Ahtonio at 4 p.m. for all points
-1st class, special delivery,
and special handling only. An-
other dispatch is made at
4:30 p.m., when the post ofNce
closes. This includes all 1st
class and parcel post.
After the post'office clos-
es, mall is collected from the
out-of-town box at 5:40 p.m.
and again at 9 p.m., Monday
through Saturday, and at 6
p.m. Sundays and holidays.
This mail is postmarked in San
Antonio and dispatched from
there.
