three sentences were handed down in the 21 Judicial District Court of
Lee County, Texas.
Robert Samuel Salley. 56, of Temple, having been charged with Driv-
ing While Intoxicated - Subsequent, received a sentence of 6 months
to 1 year confinement in a Substance Abuse Felony Punishment Facil-
ity Treatment Program as a condition of probation under a 5 year
confinement in TDCJ probated for 7 years sentence. He also received
a 2 year driver's license suspension; ordered to complete a Driving
While Intoxicated Intervention Program, complete a Victim Impact Panel
Program. defendant to have the Ignition Interlock System installed in
his vehicle and on zero tolerance probation as to alcohol.
Michael Treon Sanders, 22. of Giddings, on a charge of Unautho-
rized Use of Motor Vehicle, received revocation of probation - 18
months confinement in the TDCJ State Jail Facility.

With the continued hot, dry weather, the City has been forced
to implement new water restrictions to help us conserve our
resources. Outdoor watering will be allowed on Mondays,
Wednesdays, and Saturdays until further notice. Your coopera-
tion with these new restrictions is greatly appreciated.
With the new school year in full swing. I'd also like to remind
our drivers to watch out for students walking and riding their
bikes to school. Also, watch out for the younger drivers as they
travel to and from the school campuses.
The City Hall is open Monday through Friday, from 8 to 5 for
the convenience of our citizens. Feel free to drop by anytime.
