This is the time of year we
pause to thank our friends for the
warm support and help given to
Scouting in 1973.
Looking back on the days,
weeks and months which made up\
the year we can report outstand-
ing progress and growth-some-
thing which could not have been
achieved without your friendship
and backing.
It was a big year: some 9435
boys and an estimated 2800 of
their adult leaders participated in
our outdoor summer, programs; a
new program for camping for ‘lees
chance" boys was successfully
inaugurated; more than 26,000 at-
tended and participated in the an-
nual Scout Country Fair; our
Scouts were active inconser-
