Turner pointed out the impor-
tance of effective public speak-
ing. He cited three basic ele-
ments required for a good
speech as listening, thinking
and speaking. Turner is Past
President of the Port Lavaca
Toastmasters Club, and is pre-
sently serving as the Area
Governor of Toastmasters, In-
ternational.
Mrs Turner was also present
as a guest as the meeting.
