remember, too-your present car will never again be
worth as much in trade as it is right at this moment,

2 THE CAR THAT WILL STAY NEW!
You keep right on saving . . . because Plymouth is the

final interpretation and application.
This is not counseling evasiveness
as a policy to be followed. It is
merely one way of calling atten-
tion to the fact that the North has
racial integration on the statute
books but far from racial integra-
tion in practice, as is evident from
frequent outbreaks of racial confl-
ict. With two races living side by
side there will be integration only
insofar as it is voluntary on both
sides. This may be put down as
an inflexible law of human rela-
| tionship.
i Many Southern school districts
have complied peacefully with the
uthern delegation in Congress, 'or
both, to meet a challenge. The
South itself is divided, true, but
there is sufficient common ground
for effective leadership to be ex-
erted. And there will certainly be
agreement that it will be better
to work the problem out than to
let it work 1 itself out.
