bach was presented with a white
carnation corsage. After Mr. and
Mrs. Milton Schlabach opened the
gifts and expressed their thanks,
refreshments consisting of sandwi-
ches, various cakes, potato chips,
pickles, and coffee were served
by the hostesses.

games, and then the bride-to-be

with a pink carnation corsage. The
brides’ mother and the groom’s
mother were presented with a rose
corsage.
After the bride-to-be opened the
gifts and expressed her thanks,
refreshments consisting of sand-
wiches, various cakes, potato
chips, pickles and soda water were
served by the hostesses.
Money Tree Shower
Wednesday evening May 3. Mrs.
Milton Schlabach was honored with
a money tree shower at the Round |
rodeo. This float will be a sim-
ple one and will be pulled by Mr.’
Young's pickup truck.
Joe Penn, the State FFA presi-
dent, will visit with our chapter
on May 9 from 1:40 to 2:20. On
behalf of the chapter 1 would like
to welcome Joe to Giddings and
wish him a pleasant visit.
The date for the FFA meeting
for this month will be post-
poned until another date. The!
meeting was scheduled for Mon- |
day, May 8.
I, as reporter, on behalf of the
other chapter officers, would like
to thank Mr. Young and all the
month at 7:30 p. m. The Ladies
Aid meets on the 1st. Thursday of
each month at 2,30 p. m.
