Mr. E. C. Everett who returned from
Austin this morning says that while the
train was at Adams' station a crowd of
colored boys attaoked the train with
rocks. Several passengers and train
hands got off and pursued the boys
firing at them with pistols. The latter
however got clear away and the train
which had been delayed about 15 min-
utes then started.
Tens Sunday School Contention.
The ninth annual meeting of the Texas
Sunday School association will be held In
the city of Terrell Kaufman oounty be
ginning on Tuesday the 20th day of
April at 8 o'clook p. m. Let every Sun-
day school In Texas be represented.

The report of the Commissioners on
the Babcock road for assessing damages

on tho ground of being excessive. Tour-
nat was appointed to see. the parties and
if possible effect a compromise.
Tho report of the Surveyor on the
Fredrlcksburg road was referred for a
more complete report giving the names
of the parties who were trespassing on
said road.
The reports of the Surveyor on the
Gonzales Castrovllle and Somerset
roads were accepted
A few small accounts were audited
and tho oourt adjourded until 10 o'clock
to-morrow morning.
